R&R Constructions recently completed a major access and walkway upgrade for a local school, delivering a safer, more practical and durable connection between existing school buildings.
The project included the construction of an elevated modular walkway system beneath the existing covered area, providing students, staff and visitors with a stable, level and weather-protected access route. The new surface was carefully installed around existing buildings, structural posts, and access points to create a clean, consistent finish throughout the school grounds.
As part of the works, R&R Constructions also completed a new staircase and landing area featuring galvanised steel handrails, high-visibility stair nosings, slip-resistant surfaces and bright yellow tactile ground surface indicators. These features improve visibility and help people safely identify changes in level and approach stairways.
